Nakshatra launches new TVC








Godess of Luck Katrina mesmirizes the universe!!!
Mumbai, 23rd December 2008: It’s the star that controls the planets, and thereby, our destinies. And this was proved today at a star studded event which saw the launch of the new advertising campaign for Nakshatra. Katrina Kaif is the brand ambassador of Nakshtara and when a radiant beauty like Katrina and Nakshatra got together for the making of the new campaign, the end result was breathtaking.

In the new Nakshatra TVC we have the goddess of luck performing a cosmic ballet and controlling the cosmos. The latest Nakshatra film is conceptualized and created by Creativeland Asia.

The choice of Katrina as the Goddess of Luck was a no-brainer. Given the fact that she has been the lucky mascot of Bollywood, with almost all her films proving successful.

Speaking in the occasion, Mr. Mehul Choksi, Chairman & MD, Gitanjali Gems, “Katrina is the perfect representation of the young, trendy and fashionable woman that Nakshatra targets. Nakshatra is synonymous with trust and purity in a category that is fraught with questionable practices. It e

“The film was quite a challenge considering that we had to deal with one of India’s most prestigious brands Nakshatra , one of its brightest stars Katrina and a script that demanded the moon” said Sajan Raj Kurup, Chairman & Chief Creative Officer, Creativeland Asia Network.

Creativeland Asia and Crocodile films put up one of the largest Chroma sets in India and put up a creative team from four different countries (India, UK, Malaysia & Japan) to execute the film.

The mega production that were involved in the making of the TVC were Creative Direction & Film Production - India, VFX Generation - Malaysia, CG Compositor - Japan, Music composer – London.

Mumbai 18th October 2008, To mark twenty-five years of India’s cricketing glory, to commemorate the 1983 World Cup win and to honor the Heroes of 1983 the Gitanjali group has decided to create a special trophy that will be embellished with diamonds and rubies from the house of Gitanjali. The same was unveiled at a gala event today.

The trophy is specially created using 25-carat diamonds and will be presented to the World Cup heroes, at an event in Dubai later this year. The diamond trophy is made using the best quality diamond and rubies. Each diamond is studded with finesse, to make the end product look aesthetic. The historic event in Dubai, will be organized by Channel 2 and Professional Management Group

The diamond-studded trophy that was unveiled is created with a fine blend of 82.2-gram gold and 20cts diamond. The Value of the trophy is approximately Rs. ___Lacs each. The diamond trophy is made using the best quality diamond, rubies and the purest gold. It is encrusted with 7118 diamonds and 36 rubies. Each stone is studded with finesse, to make the end product look aesthetic. The diamond trophy is specially created by Tesoro. The Tesoro line actually redefines the way diamonds can be used, taking it beyond the usual and conventional sense of designing jewellery and collectibles.

Speaking on the initiative, Mr. Mehul Choksi Chairman Gitanjali Group states, Kapil Dev and his team created history at Lords in 83’. It was a match on which legends are written even today. The trophy is our way of saluting the legends that bought the country its first and only World Cup glory. ”
